Prof. Carlos Flavián

Universidad de Zaragoza

Carlos Flavián is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. He leads the METODO Research Lab and is recognized as one of the most influential marketing scholars in Spain.
His research explores human-technology interactions, including the Internet, AI, AR/VR/XR, with a focus on technological characteristics (usability), consumer perceptions, behavioral intentions, and consumer behavior.
He also holds editorial roles in several international journals, serving as Strategy Editor at the Service Industries Journal and Spanish Journal of Marketing-ESIC, as well as Regional Editor for Europe at the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.

Prof. Ian Phau

Curtin University

Ian Phau is a Professor at the John Curtin School of Management and Marketing, Faculty of Business and Law. He also serves as the Director of the Luxury Branding Research Cluster.
His research focuses on country image, luxury branding, brand counterfeiting and piracy, consumer animosity, and advertising appeals. His work has been published in various leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising, European Journal of Marketing, and others.
Currently, he is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics (Scopus, Q1).

Prof. Shariq Siddiqui, JD, PhD

Indiana University

Shariq Siddiqui is an Assistant Professor of Philanthropy Studies and the Director of the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Previously, he served as the Executive Director of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA), a leading international association that connects academics, educators, and practitioners engaged in research on nonprofit organizations, volunteerism, philanthropy, and civil society.
Shariq also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Muslim Philanthropy and Civil Society and the Muslim Humanitarianism Review. Additionally, he was a founding editor of the Journal on Education in Muslim Societies and the Series Editor of the Muslim Philanthropy and Civil Society Book Series.

Prof. Dr. Salina Bt. Kassim

International Islamic University Malaysia

Dr. Salina is a Professor at the IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF), International Islamic University Malaysia, and a leading scholar in Islamic banking and finance, particularly Islamic social finance, with nearly 150 indexed journal articles (Scopus h-index: 12) and several books, including the widely used Islamic Financial System: Theory and Practice (IIUM Press/UPM Press/USIM Press). Her research spans Islamic microfinance, waqf, women’s entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment, earning Best Paper Awards, Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper Awards (2013, 2020), and second place in the 2010 KLIFF Essay Competition. She has secured grants from Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Finance, Permodalan Nasional Berhad, and the Islamic Development Bank; serves on editorial boards; reviews for numerous journals; and has supervised 49 PhD and 26 Master’s candidates, while examining theses across Malaysia and Indonesia. A frequent international speaker (UK, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia), she also trains the ASAS “Islamic Financial System” module, has served as an FRGS panel evaluator since 2014, contributes to the forthcoming Federal Territories Waqf Blueprint, and helped launch the “Fund the Founders” initiative with the Chamber of Islamic Trade and Investment Malaysia, Markamarie Global, and IIiBF to support modest-fashion startups.
